Information sought following death in Broadstairs

Witnesses are being sought by officers following the death of a man in Broadstairs.
Kent Police was called to a report of an injured person on the beach below the cliff near Western Esplanade in Broadstairs at 6.24pm on Tuesday 13 August 2019.

Officers and the South East Coast Ambulance Service attended where it was confirmed a local man aged in his 60s had died.

Although the death is not being treated as suspicious, police would like to hear from anyone who may have been in the area at the time of the incident in order to compile a report for the coroner.
