Appeal after delivery driver threatened in Sittingbourne

An investigation has been launched after a delivery driver was reportedly threatened by a man in Sittingbourne.
The incident took place in Burley Road at around 9pm on Tuesday 10 September 2019 when the driver returned to his vehicle and saw a man acting suspiciously.

He challenged the man who swore at him and walked away towards Bassett Road.


The suspect is described as being white, around 5ft 10in tall, of medium build and was wearing a black hooded top with the hood up, blue jeans, black trainers and had a scarf covering most of his face.

The victim believes the man may have been holding a bladed weapon.
