Arrest over alleged knife assault in Tunbridge Wells
An investigation into a serious assault with a knife in Tunbridge Wells has led to the arrest of a man from London.
At around 7.45pm on 21 August 2019 police were called to an altercation in Calverley Road, where a man aged in his 50s was assaulted.
The victim was taken to a London hospital with injuries consistent with stab wounds. He has since been discharged.
On 4 September a 20-year-old man from Woolwich, London was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.
The suspect has been bailed, pending further enquiries, to return to a police station on 1 October.
